LMB: CAN WE MEET YOU?
BOBO: I am Oyebode Kayode Caleb, Bobo, I was not christened bobo though but I gave myself the name coz I dont really like the bro/sis thingy in church/fellowship, by the way I am a Christian. Sadly some folks still call me uncle bobo.
LMB: HOW WAS GROWING UP LIKE?
BOBO: Growing up was not too bad.I grew up with my parents in Ajuwon, outskirt of Ogun state and I still live with them up until now. Growing up I attended nursery, primary and secondary school, I built mud (bird) houses, played mummy and daddy, rolled tyres,
played football while its raining…..
LMB: CAN YOU SHED MORE LIGHT ON YOUR EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?
BOBO: I finished my primary education in O’sarah school, though the school was opposite my house I still get to school late, then proceeded to Fagba Junior Grammar School for my JSS and then to Sonmori Senior Comprehensive High School where I failed out of secondary school in the year 2007, I wrote WAEC GCE in the year 2009 and cheated to make all my papers. In the year 2010, I became serious with God, I prefer this to saying
I became born-again coz prior to this time I had given my life to Jesus more
than once and taken it back but 2010 I decided that I was not going to use the
result I made through cheating to secure admission into higher institution
simply because “the Lord despises every kind of cheating” Proverbs 20:10. In
addition I had done a couple of bad experiences growing up, bad influences
from friends and media and then cheated to enter school again and then I told
myself if I cannot change all my past which I cannot but this one thing I can
correct so I can proudly talk about it. To shorten the story I have all the
papers I needed to secure admission without cheating and now I am student
of the Premier University of Ibadan, Guidance & Counselling. Please I’m not
trying to condemn anyone that has cheated before or still in the business of
cheating.
LMB: HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE A YEAR OLDER?
BOBO: I feel good though I don’t get to celebrate it like that but one thing is that I always listen to what God wants me to do in my new year. Last year He gave me a project called
‘project365’ i.e. write one letter per day to someone. I must say that He is a
Father that gives you work to do and gives you the strength to carry it out,
trust me He has been faithful and still faithful even though I get to default
some days but I make up for those days by writing all the days I’m owing. And
for this year it’s a year of growth for me, a year to spend time with Him in
Word, fasting and prayer.
LMB: WHAT ARE YOU UP TO PRESENTLY?
BOBO: Career and Business basically and everyday of the month I read a chapter in the book of Proverbs.
LMB: CAREER WISE WHO ARE YOUR MENTORS?
BOBO: I learn from a couple of people but TITIMI Adigun, Coordinator of MINE Teenage Ministry are the ones I
learnt from the most and then Fela Durotoye.
LMB: WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
BOBO: Before now when I asked my hobbies I usually write things like reading,
talking… but now I know my hobbies and #1 is that I like eating beans +
plantain, travelling, drumming.
LMB: WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT SEVEN YEARS?
BOBO: I see myself fulfilling God’s purpose for my life, getting really
close to having The Counselling Clinic and very important already married to
my wife.
LMB: HOW’S YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD LIKE?
BOBO:Getting better daily,
getting closer to Him daily not because of anything I have done or that I will
do but because of the place of Jesus.
LMB: WHAT IS YOUR GREATEST TESTIMONY?
BOBO: Salvation is my greatest testimony every time.
LMB: A WORD OUT TO THE READERS…
BOBO: Being joy dependent on people or things is at the mercy of people's things
ie. If your joy is based on the things you have or don’t have or the people in
your life, trust me these factors can fail and when they fail then and there joy
fails, instead put all your trust in God the Only One that will NEVER fail you
LMB: Thank you so much for the audience....Happy Birthday to you.
