Tried to quantify with words but to no avail
With praises I had no idea
They just couldn’t convey the message.
So cute you’d pass him for a young dude
So loving you’d think he was indeed Mr LOVE in his past life.
So caring you’d get swept off your feet.
Initially I felt the care was burdensome
But suddenly I realised I couldn’t have wished for a better you
His words engraved in my heart
His rules I knew like the back of my hands.
Yes He is strict
But at the same time caring
His words just like a broom,
Sweeps out all bad habits.
Impacting academically,
Not lacking spiritually
Stuffy with the word I have to think twice before taking actions.
Too spiritual to be dazed with the things of the world
So non-challant to things without heavenly roots
From his acts, character endures
Greater strength I pray thee.
History has it you walked in poverty
But as time would have it, you flourish in wealth.
Those seeds you spewed for me to chew,
Has grown trees that can’t be lumbered.
Dutifully watching over me
Like a hen with her chicks,
Working all day, Just to make me great
Showers overshadowed with favour,
Mercy overwhelmed with grace,
Always in your bosom I pray.
